John McCain and Health Insurance Credits
Wednesday, April 30th, 2008Senator John McCain is pushing for a $5,000 health insurance tax credit to assist everyone is purchasing health insurance. This is for people who may not have any health insurance, or even people who have group health insurance with their employer.
Mr. McCain wants people to apply for competing health insurance companies, where the money would provide the health insurance people need today. These health plans will be just as good as any other plan you would find with a group health insurance policy.
The senator is also wanting to make sure everyone has affordable health insurance that they will be able keep affording the coverage.
The other presidential candidates are worried that this health insurance tax credit, will not provide enough coverage for older citizens who need more coverage, or for businesses that already offer health insurance as a benefit to working with that specific company.
